Odette Gibson

Odette is the director of Volensis, one of the associate companies of Volensis India. She has been an accountant for thirty years and has taught accountancy at all levels in the U.K.

Odette’s chief area of expertise is Business Recovery and Turnarounds concentrating on the U.K. SME sector. She has sat on the board of numerous companies in the capacity of Finance Director and has been involved in advisory work on recoveries and turnarounds, management consultancy, and in implementation of sophisticated IT systems for large companies. Odette has also lectured and trained extensively on various accounting software.

In the Last fifteen years Odette has undertaken a number of entrepreneurial ventures where she has built, developed and sold successful businesses. She strongly advocates Ethical Business Practices and is widely acknowledged as an Investor in People. Currently, amidst her busy schedule, she is helping young, budding accountants to gain their professional qualification through Volensis’ training program.

Jeet Chakraborty

Jeet is a Telecommunication Engineer and holds a Masters Degree in Digital Signal Processing. Before joining Volensis, Jeet was involved with a number of Research Institutes as well as Software Consultancies both in India and the U.K where his specific areas of expertise were Signal Processing, Wireless Communications and Mobile Technologies.

In Volensis India, Jeet is a Business Analyst for the Corporate Finance team conducting general advisory work on fund raising issues and cross border corporate transaction matters concentrating on the UK and Indian markets.

Jeet is also actively involved in the business development of the firm in India, GCC region and other emerging market economies in Asia Pacific.
